A general meeting will follow at 1 p.m.Carrie Cowan, will speak on hearing aids. Reservations and payments of $10 must be made for the Christmas party to be held at noon Dec. 6. Dues for 2005 will be collected. Nonperishable items are needed for the church food pantry. New members are welcome.

XYoungstown Chapter 4611, AARP, will meet at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday at St. Augustine Church, Parmalee Avenue. Members should take casseroles for a Thanksgiving dinner. Payment is due for the Christmas party in December. There will be a 50-50 raffle.

XA meeting of the Girard Seniors will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the senior center. Entertainment will be provided by a chorus from the Rescue Mission.
