College scholarships
The Ohio Foundation of Independent Colleges' Ohio Scholars Program has awarded 910 scholarships, totaling more than $1.7 million to students currently attending college. The program is funded by corporations and foundations whose contributions provide scholarships to students who might otherwise be unable to afford higher education costs. Area college students who were awarded scholarships are:
