Hospice memorial service
GIRARD -- There will be a hospice memorial service at 3 p.m. Nov. 21, at Unity Church Centre, 1226 Naylor-Lloyd Road, in memory of patients who died between April 1 and Oct. 31. The Rev. Richard A. Schumaucher, pastor of Unity Church and a member of the hospice staff, will participate. The hospice staff will light the memorial candle. A reception will follow.
St. Cecilia Sing concert
NEW CASTLE, Pa. -- St. Cecilia Sing, a concert in honor of the Patron Saint of Church Musicians, will be at 7 p.m. Nov. 21 in Mary, Mother of Hope Parish. It will feature Mary, Mother of Hope choirs and soloists, solo hand-bell ringer Alex Mysliwiec, and the women's chorus from Westminster College. The concert is free and open to the public. Gospel team in Vienna
VIENNA -- Pacific Garden Mission will send a gospel team to sing and give testimonies at 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. Nov. 21 at Liberty Bible Church, 2111 Sodom Hutchings Road. Ervin McNeill will give testimony. Pacific Garden Mission, established in 1877, provides housing, food and clothing for more than 500 men, women and children. Their ministries include Polish ministry, jail ministry, Bible education and homeless outreach. Their radio program, "Unshackled," first aired in 1950. McNeill is story number 2461 in the radio series.
Free anniversary concert
HUBBARD -- Hubbard First Presbyterian Church, 22 Westview Ave., will continue its 200th anniversary celebration with a free concert at 4 p.m. Sunday with the Wade Raridon Singers.
'DaVinci Code' discussion
GIRARD -- Decoding The DaVinci Code, a study on "The DaVinci Code" by Dan Brown, will be at 7 p.m. Sunday at First Presbyterian Church, 890 Church Hill Road. Seminar on Dobson study
AUSTINTOWN -- Wickliffe Presbyterian Church, 45 Idlewood Road, and the Rev. Condie Watters will have an informational seminar based on Dr. James Dobson's study "Bringing Up Boys." Retreat for couples
NEW MIDDLETOWN -- A retreat for married and engaged couples will be Nov. 28 at St. Paul the Apostle Church, 10143 Main St. The cost is $30 per couple. It begins with Mass at 11 a.m. with lunch following and then sessions until 5 p.m. The presenter is Bob Kloos from Beacon Street Productions in Cleveland. Miracle services
NORTH JACKSON -- Miracle services will be held at 6 p.m. Sunday and 7 p.m. Tuesday in Christ is the Answer Church, 10763 Mahoning Ave. The Rev. Dr. Gary Greenwald, pastor of Eagle's Nest Ministry, Santa Ana, Calif., will be featured. He has been healed from polio, encephalitis, ileis and Bright's disease and says God has anointed him with special gifts of healing, faith and miracles. The Rev. Mr. Greenwald's radio and television program, "Eagle Food" from Eagle's Nest, has been aired nationwide. Mr. Greenwald has a doctorate in theology from Grace Theological Seminary of Loris, S.C., as well as an honorary doctorate from Christian International School of Theology, Santa Rosa Beach, Calif.
