Best Bets on TV Tonight

Lifetime is sometimes parodied -- and criticized -- for the tone of some of its programming designed to attract female viewers. We'll let you be the judge of today's movie marathon lineup with "A Mother's Fight for Justice" (noon); "Locked Up: A Mother's Rage" (2 p.m.); "A Mother's Testimony" (4 p.m.); "The Other Mother" (6 p.m.); and "Mother Knows Best" (8 p.m.).
Die-hard fans probably own a tape or DVD, but if you're wondering why the Potter phenomenon goes on and on, you can check out "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone" (8 p.m., ABC). Daniel Radcliffe stars as the boy wizard, who was 11 years old in this first installment of the story.
With the lines between rock and country music often blurred these days, it's not unusual for country performers to rely on sex appeal in their live performances and videos. "Twenty Sexiest Women, 20 Sexiest Men" (9 p.m., CMT) offers separate countdowns of the male and female country performers deemed sexiest. (The women go first, not that there's anything sexist about that.)
