MOUNT UNION (9-0)vs. HEIDELBERG (0-9)
Game time: 1:30 p.m. at Mount Union Stadium, AllianceSeries history: Mount Union leads, 35-14, winning the last 14 meetings including last year's 68-13 victory.Scouting report: Last week, Mount Union broke open a 7-7 tie with 27 last-quarter points to overpower Muskingum, 34-7. The win was Mount Union's 103rd in a row in the regular season, including 93rd straight against OAC opposition. Heidelberg's winless season continued last week as the Student Princes dropped a 31-14 decision to Otterbein. Mount Union out-rushed Muskingum, 377-156 yards, led by RB Jeff Strauch's 60 yards on 13 attempts. WR Jason Cavell had three receptions for 108 yards and one score, while QB Zac Bruney was 12-for-18 passing for 224 yards and three TDs with one interception. MUC's defense was led by MLB Shaun Spisak and OLB Mike Gibbons with 8 1/2 tackles apiece. Heidelberg is led on offense by freshman QB Steve West (87-for-191 passing for 1,004 yards and four TDs with 13 interceptions); RB Brett Hastings (429 yards rushing in 158 carries and two TDs), and WRs Roc Patterson (52 catches and three TDs) and Brandon Parker (31 catches and one TD).

WESTMINSTER (5-4)vs. WAYNESBURG (6-3)
Game time: 1 p.m. at Harold Burry Stadium, New WilmingtonSeries history: Westminster leads, 35-24-3Scouting report: Westminster edged Grove City, 9-6, last week while Waynesburg defeated Frostburg State, 30-19. Westminster won on freshman Jason Lundmark's 34-yard field goal with 4:46 left in the game. Senior RB Scott Froelich rushed for 118 yards in 30 carries, including a 10-yard scoring dash that gave the Titans a 6-0 lead. Sophomore QB J.R. Barley was 4-for-4 passing for 63 yards. On Westminster's defense, senior DB Clint DeLuca came up with 12 tackles while senior DE Don waldron (Cortland Lakeview High) had 10 plus a fumble recovery, and sophomore DB Josy Tissler had his fourth interception of the season which leads the team. With the Titans' win, they clinched their 49th winning season in the past 53 years. Waynesburg's Luke Cunkelman, a junior CB, turned in an outstanding performance against Frostburg State and was named PAC Defensive Player of the Week. He had a season-high eight tackles and a team-leading sixth interception of the season, which was a 28-yard TD return.

HIRAM (0-9) vs. OBERLIN (0-9)
Game time: 1 p.m. at Charles A. Henry Field in HiramSeries history: Hiram leads, 26-19, losing last year, 24-12Scouting report: Hiram lost to Kenyon last week, 20-12, while Oberlin fell to Ohio Wesleyan, 24-14. The Hiram-Oberlin game will match the NCAC's only winless teams. In Hiram's loss to Kenyon, LB Dan Murphy had nine tackles and two sacks to give him 44 tackles and four sacks for the season. Kenyon turned back two Hiram threats in the last quarter to prevail. The Terriers out-gained the Lords, 333-308 yards, despite going 1-for-5 in the red zone. QB Max Kravitz was 23 of 48 passing for 236 yards, with two touchdowns and one interception. WR Niarchos Kincaid had seven catches for 101 yards and one touchdown and Greg Kibler had six catches for 62 yards and one touchdown. Don Waddington rushed for 69 yards in 20 carries and had 38 receiving yards for 107 total yards. On defense, Hiram was led by Dan Raddish with 10 tackles, including one for a loss, while Dan Murphy added nine tackles and two sacks.
ALLEGHENY (5-4) vs. WITTENBERG (6-3)
Game time: 1 p.m. at Edwards-Maurer Stadium, SpringfieldSeries history: Wittenberg leads, 8-7. Allegheny won last year, 27-21.Scouting report: Allegheny beat Earlham last Saturday, 26-7, while Wittenberg fell to Wooster in OT, 64-58. Allegheny QB Jimmy Savage had career-highs of 199 passing yards and three TD passes against Earlham. He went 14-for-20 passing, including TD passes of 4, 21 and 13 yards. Sophomore RB Mario Tarquinio needs only four more yards to reach 1,000 for the season. He rushed for 143 yards against Earlham to give him 996 for the season. The Gators compiled 287 yards of offense and climbed to an 19-0 record against Earlham Junior LB Eric Rupp had a season-high 12 tackles, six of them solo stops, and broke up a pass.
GENEVA (5-4, 4-2) vs. URBANA (4-6)
Game time: 1:30 p.m. at Wood Street Stadium, UrbanaSeries history: Geneva won last year, 41-10Scouting report: Geneva rallied for 28 points in the second half to overpower Ohio Dominican last Saturday, 38-16, in the first meeting between the two MSFA Mideast schools. If Geneva beats Urbana Saturday, it will qualify for the annual National Christian College Athletic Association Victory Bowl slated Nov. 19, and will play host to the game at 7 p.m. The opponent will be either Trinity International (Ill.) or Northwestern (Minn.). Geneva has won four of the last seven Victory Bowls. Last week, the Golden Tornadoes out-gained Ohio Dominican, 352-228 yards, including 286 on the ground. Freshman Ken Frederick got his first start at QB for Geneva, and was replaced for several plays by senior receiver Matt Nowaczynski. Then Nowaczynski wound up leading the running attack with 111 yards on 12 carries, including a 49-yard touchdown run to put his team ahead to stay in the third quarter. Nowaczynski also was 2-for-4 passing for 18 yards, while Frederick was 5-for-11 for 48 yards. Brandon Nathan rushed for 93 yards on 18 carries, including a pair of touchdowns; while Josh Mullen chipped in with a touchdown and 88 yards rushing on 19 carries. On defense, senior LB James Samreny had two interceptions, clinching the win with a 51-yard interception return for a TD in the fourth quarter.
MALONE (3-6) vs. QUINCY (4-6)
Game time: 1 p.m. at Fawcett Stadium, CantonSeries history: Quincy leads, 1-0, winning last year, 46-14Scouting report: Malone lost to Taylor last Saturday, 23-15, while Quincy fell to St. Francis (Ind.), 49-13. Malone QB Brad Reifsnyder has thrown 20 TD passes this season and needs four more to break the school record set by Brian Magrell in 1998. Reifsnyder has completed 155 of 274 passes for 2,105 yards, and leads the MSFA in average passing yards (233.9) and total offense yards (245.2) per game. WR Nyrell Knight leads Malone in receptions (40) and reception yards (588) with four TDs, while WR John Regas has 35 catches for 417 yards. WR Alphonso Owen leads the team in TD catches with nine, and needs three more to break the school record of 11 set by Shane Hostetler in 1988. RB Eric Smith leads Malone in rushing with 805 yards. WALSH (8-2)vs. ST. FRANCIS, IND. (9-0)
Game time: Noon at Cougar Stadium, Fort Wayne, Ind.Series history: St. Francis leads, 5-1, winning the last five games, including by 41-24 last year.Scouting report: Walsh kept its playoff and league championship hopes alive with a 32-28 win over Urbana last Saturday. St. Francis continued unbeaten last Saturday with a 49-13 romp past Quincy. The Walsh-St. Francis winner will win the MSFA Mideast title and qualify for the NAIA playoffs. St. Francis has won the last five league championships. Walsh shared the loop title in 2001, but still is seeking its first NAIA playoff berth. In Walsh's win over Urbana, Rayshaun Kizer returned a pass interception a school-record 100 yards for a TD in the Cavaliers' second possession of the game.
