Mount Union College plans activities for Parents Day
Parents will have a chance to visit residence halls during the day.
ALLIANCE -- Mount Union College will have its annual Parents Day events Saturday.
From 8:30 to 11:30 a.m., check-in and ticket pickup will take place in the main lounge of the Hoover-Price Campus Center, where breakfast refreshments will be served.
Also in the main lounge, at 9 a.m. Rosemary Bienz, director of MUC's Academic Support Center, will present "Parents 100 -- The Finals Countdown," a discussion of the role parents can play in helping students stay focused academically through final exams.
Free caricatures will be available from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the main lounge. Parents can take home a caricature as a memento of the weekend.
Both a tour of the college president's home and a residence hall "meet-and-greet" affair will take place from 9:30 to 11 a.m., where parents will have the opportunity to tour the residence halls and meet resident directors.
