FUND-RAISERS
XThe annual Children's Free Care Chow-Chow Express luncheon to raise funds for Forum Health Tod Children's Hospital will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. Nov. 15 at Forum Health Northside Medical Center's medical building auditorium, Gypsy Lane, Youngstown. There also will be silent and Chinese auctions, 50-50 and basket raffles, psychic readings, a bake sale, chair massages, pictures with Santa, and the raffling of a big-screen television. XHospice of the Valley will hold its annual "Awesome Aussie Luncheon" at Outback Steakhouse, 7000 S. Tiffany Blvd., Boardman, on Thursday. Seating times are 11 a.m., noon and 1 p.m. Donation is $20, and menu choices are center cut sirloin of beef with garlic mashed potatoes, grilled chicken with rice, chicken caesar salad or grilled salmon with steamed vegetables. NIGHTS AT THE RACES

SPECIAL EVENTS
XThe Girard Historical Society will hold an open house at the historic Barnhisel House for three weekends during the holiday season so visitors can view its period Christmas decorations. The North State Street house will be open from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 27 and 28 and Dec. 11 and 12. The charge is $5 for adult, $4 for seniors and $2 for children age 12 and under. Light refreshments will be served. Visitors are asked to park on Smithsonian Street and use the Smithsonian entrance.
TRAINING COURSES
