WARREN LIBRARY English storyteller to give performance

The program is free and open to the community.
WARREN -- A Shakespearean actor will visit the city next week as part of a performance series.
English actor Roger Jerome will perform at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, in the Thomas Meeting Room at the Warren-Trumbull County Public Library, 444 Mahoning Ave.
Jerome comes to the city as part of the Neighbors performance series, which aims to bring people together in urban centers to appreciate one another other and the arts. The program is free.
Jerome is a Shakespearean actor, skilled teacher and Englishman who settled in southern Ohio in 1988. While visiting Warren, he will use his mastery of storytelling and British dialects to tell tales from various parts of his native land and bring colorful characters to life.
His solo performances have been presented in 17 states. He offers spoken material in dramatic form. Theatrics, audience involvement, literary basis, flair, challenge and impact are hallmarks of his performances. The performance is recommended for ages 12 and up.
This Neighbors program is presented in partnership with the Warren Trumbull County Public Library.
