Development group names guest speaker

Farris Marketing assists two national companies
BOARDMAN -- Farris Marketing has been retained by two national companies.
It will develop brand awareness and business strategies for Cleveland City Forge, which is based in Wellington, Ohio, and makes structural hardware for stadiums, bridges and other projects. Farris will develop sales tools, advertising and other marketing programs for City Lighting Products, a lighting distributor based in St. Louis.
Apprenticeship program seeks new applicants
VIENNA -- Applications for plasterers are being accepted by the Mahoning, Trumbull and Columbiana counties Cement Masons and Plasterers Joint Apprenticeship Program. Applicants must by $20 and bring a high school transcript, military service certificate if applicable and either birth certificate or driver's license.
Applications will be accepted at the Builders Association of Eastern Ohio and Western Pennsylvania, 1372 Youngstown-Kingsville Road from 9 to 11 a.m. and 1:30 to 3 p.m. Dec. 6-10 and 9 to 11 a.m. Dec. 11.
Breeze Auto Sales opens
YOUNGSTOWN -- Willie and Sandra Stewart have opened Breeze Auto Sales at 3007 Market St. They intend to have about 20 cars on the lot at all times. All cars come with a warranty, and the business has a certified mechanic on staff.
Scrimage fitness center
HOWLAND -- Scrimage, a fitness center that focuses on men 35 and over, has opened at 160 Clifton Drive. The center uses a circuit format with hydraulic machines that takes 30 minutes to complete. The owners are Rick Baker and Vince Brancaccio.
