XPOLAND -- Monsignor William Connell solemnized the marriage of Lisa Marie Leone and Glenn Craig Maurer, both of 5415 Tremont St., Dallas, during a ceremony Oct. 9 at Holy Family Church. After the 1:30 p.m. service the newlyweds received guests during a reception at the Youngstown Club.
The bride is a daughter of the late Rita and Victor Leone, who had lived in Poland. Parents of the groom are Sandra and Les Maurer, 3303 Quakertown, San Antonio.
Pearl and sequin clusters adorned the bride's ivory gown detailed with lace and styled with a small train.
Lesly Lesnak of New Middletown was honor attendant and wore a platinum-colored dress as did the bridesmaids, Kim Cook of Cleveland Heights, Wendy Finley of Mentor, Julie Hazle of Shaker Heights and Kim Wingo of Bowling Green, the bride's cousin.
Serving as best man for his brother was Mark Maurer of Irving, Texas. Groomsmen were Dr. Brian Butler of Denver, Jim Kendrick and J.J. Mann, both of Austin, Texas, and Keith Lipe of Dallas. Ushers were Heath Gromek of Mentor, Bryan McPhail of Cleveland and David Trzebuckowski of Strongsville.
Mrs. Maurer graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor's degree. She is employed as a technical application specialist at Intellinex in Irving.
Mr. Maurer earned a bachelor's degree in business administration from Baylor University in Waco, Texas. He is a business analyst at Intellinex.
The couple plan a honeymoon next year.
