XYOUNGSTOWN -- Jamaica was the honeymoon destination of Franklin L. Reed of Girard and his bride, the former Kerri Lynn Kelly of Girard, who were married during a ceremony at 1:30 p.m. Oct. 9 at Church Hill United Methodist Church by the Rev. Carl West.
The bride is a daughter of Diana Kelly of Brookfield and the late Jim Kelly. Parents of the groom are Frank and Roberta Reed of Ravenna.
A reception took place at the Lockwood House in Boardman.
Mrs. Reed is a senior technician at Walgreens Drug Store in Austintown. She also is a licensed massotherapist.
Mr. Reed is a machine operator at Turner Melts in Greenville, Pa. He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1989-93.
Honor attendant was Kimberly Kelly of Brookfield, the bride's sister. Bridesmaids were Michelle Gump of North Royalton, the bride's sister-in-law; Sherry Gard, Glendale, Ariz., and Tammy Sirb, Parma Heights, the bride's cousins; Nikki McTighe, Clinton Township, Mich.; and Chrisie Miller of Canfield. They wore black and silver dresses. Flower girls were Alexandra Reed of Salem, the groom's daughter, and Alexis Gallagher of Brookfield, the bride's niece.
Serving as best man was Jason Common of Minerva. Groomsmen were Jim Kelly of North Royalton, the bride's brother; Dustin Bowersock of Girard, the groom's brother; and Scott Morris and Brandon Downs, both of Salem; Chris Common of Beloit; and Jarrod Flowers of Alliance. The groom's son, Tyler Reed of Salem, was ring bearer.
