XLIBERTY -- The marriage of Kelly Berlin, 911 Keefer Road, Girard, and Thomas A. Lopresta, 825 Sanderson Ave., Campbell, was solemnized by the Rev. Carl West at 1:30 p.m. Oct. 1 at Church Hill United Methodist Church.
A reception was held afterward at The Georgetown in Boardman in honor of the daughter of Donald Berlin of the Girard address and the late Peggy Berlin, and the son of Thomas and Elaine Lopresta, 820 Southwestern Run, Poland.
The newlyweds spent their honeymoon on a Western Caribbean cruise and live at the Sanderson Avenue address.
Beading and sequins adorned the bodice of the bride's white gown. It featured spaghetti straps, and the skirt was enhanced with an organza overlay.
Merlot-colored gowns were worn by the honor attendant, Tia Buzzard, and the bridesmaids, Sherri Deem, Shelley Berlin, and Kerri Ague, sisters of the bride; Chelana Maggs; and Betsy Kimock. Junior bridesmaid was the bride's niece, Jackie Deem.
Tom Wick performed the duties of best man, and groomsmen were Cliff Deem, the bride's brother-in-law; Joey Sylvester, the groom's nephew; Keith Baglama; Dean Maggs; and Keith Kimock. Ring bearer was the bride's nephew, Andrew Deem.
The bride is a member of the office personnel at Santisi's I.G.A. in Girard.
The groom attended Youngstown State University and is a draftsman with Sanitary Engineers in Youngstown.
