Holiday-themed event plannd Nov. 20 will benefit Easter Seals

The benefit will include live and silent auctions along with a gourmet dinner.
BOARDMAN -- The Angels of Easter Seals will sponsor "Frosted Forest," the 19th annual Magic of an Angels Christmas, to benefit Easter Seals of Mahoning, Trumbull and Columbiana counties. The event will take place Nov. 20 at Antone's Banquet Centre.
The evening will get under way with a social hour starting at 6 p.m. followed by a gourmet dinner at 7. There also will be music for dancing.
Up for bid
Highlighting the event will be live and silent auctions and a sale of rings. Media hosts will be Gina Marinelli of WKBN TV, Frank Marzullo of WFMJ and Vince Bevacqua of WYTV.
One hundred solitaire rings will be sold at $100 each with the funds going to the Angels. Rings may be seen at Smith & amp; Co., 1449 Boardman-Canfield Road, and purchased there or at the Angels' event. Also that evening, one person will win a one-carat diamond ring valued at $5,000.
There also will be a silent auction including holiday and designer items, domed miniature Christmas trees and theme baskets.
Throughout the fall, Angels have been selling raffle tickets for four theme Christmas trees -- sports-leisure, children's, money tree and gourmet-kitchen. The trees are decorated and also include gifts under the tree. Angels members are selling tickets or call the Easter Seals center at (330) 743-1168.

Other details
Anyone may donate to the event by buying an ornament for $25 for the Children's Magical Tree. The theme is "Dickens Village" and the tree will be included in the live auction.
All proceeds will benefit the Easter Seals Society.
