ASSOCIATIONS
XThe Licensed Practical Nurse Association, Division 3 of Mahoning and Trumbull Counties, will meet at 7 p.m. Nov. 15 at Greenbriar nursing facility, 8064 South Ave., Boardman. The program will be "Mahoning County Prescription Drug Assistance Program, Community Health Education and What is WIC?" by Rosemary B. Antonucci, licensed social worker at Humility of Mary Health Partners. XU.S. Amateur Ballroom Dancers Association will meet at 6 p.m. Nov. 21 at the OCCHA Hall, 3660 Shirley Road, Youngstown. There will be a free cha cha lesson followed by general dancing from 6:45 to 9. The cost is $8 for guests, $5 for USABDA members and $2.50 for students. AUXILIARIES
XMembers of VFW Post 5532 Auxiliary may pick up pledge sheets at the post for the rock-a-thon to be held at 10 a.m. Nov. 20 at the post. Members must pay dues by Nov. 13 to be eligible for a life membership drawing, and must sign up in advance at the post for the Dec. 7 Christmas party to be held at Mason's Restaurant. A $5 gift exchange is optional. The children's Christmas party will be at 10 a.m. Dec. 18 at the post.

XYoungstown Area Newcomers Club will meet at 11:30 a.m. Nov. 17 at the Olive Garden, 863 Boardman Poland Road, Boardman. The cost will be $10.25 and members will choose from a special menu. Reservations are required by Nov. 15. The guest speaker will be a representative of Fish Samaritan House.
RELIGIOUS GROUPS
XCourt Bishop James McFadden 1650, Catholic Daughters of the Americas, will meet at 1:30 p.m. Nov. 17 at Glenellen Senior Suites and Villas-Lakeside, 9661 Market St., North Lima. XSalvation Army Auxiliary will meet at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Citadel on Glenwood Avenue, Youngstown, to pack boxes of Christmas gifts for nursing-home residents. Lunch and a meeting will follow.
