XWARREN -- Seth James Anthony and his bride, the former Alyssa Rene & eacute; Carpenter, accepted congratulations during a reception held at the Byzantine Center at the Grove in Youngstown after their 2 p.m. Oct. 2 wedding at Living Lord Lutheran Church.
The Rev. Timothy Mentzer presided at the ceremony for the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dennis G. Carpenter, 2691 Tibbetts-Wick Road, Hubbard, and the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Anthony, 167 Mitchell Road, West Middlesex, Pa.
After a wedding trip to Niagara Falls, Canada, the couple live at 4721 East Drive, Youngstown.
Schiffli lace and a scalloped neckline enhanced the bride's white satin A-line gown.
Wearing periwinkle and silver gowns were the honor attendants, Heidi Evans and Danielle Sexton, and the bridesmaids, Sarah Anthony, a sister of the groom; Laura Katz; Charity Dennison; and Erica Hite. Flower girl was Bridget LaRock.
Serving as best man was Doug Arena, and groomsmen were Adam Carpenter, the bride's brother; Drew Carpenter, her cousin; Jeff Tomko; Keith Hallden; and Darryl Johnson. Ring bearer was Frank LaRock.
Mrs. Anthony graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor's degree in respiratory care, and is a respiratory therapist with Boardman Medical Supply, Girard.
Mr. Anthony, a dispatcher with Comprehensive Logistics in Youngstown, earned a bachelor's degree in business from Pennsylvania State University.
