Best Bets on TV Tonight



Host Rachel Ray takes food lovers inside the kitchens of celebrities in this series premiere of "Inside Dish with Rachel Ray" (9 p.m., Food Network). Dennis Franz of "NYPD Blue" reveals the secret to his crabcakes and Mariel Hemingway talks about the diet that keeps her glowing. Ray also visits some of Hollywood's hottest eateries.
"Primary Colors" (9 p.m., Bravo) features John Travolta as a presidential contender with problems, not the least of which is the allegation of sex with an underage girl. Emma Thompson plays his Hillary Clintonesque wife in a film that was released right in the middle of the Monica Lewinsky scandal.
In what is sure to be a goofy episode of "Hope & amp; Faith," (9 p.m., ABC) the sisters set their father (Jack Wagner) up with their gynecologist (Jenny McCarthy). The relationship gets a bit complicated when Jack learns he has fathered another child.
"The Persuaders!" (10 p.m., BBC America) present a 1971 series, shot in Europe's capital cities. Tony Curtis plays Danny Wilde, a street-smart, self-made American millionaire, and Roger Moore is Lord Brett Sinclair, born into British wealth and class. Their mission, according to the premise of the series: "to bring justice to an unjust world."
The Grim Reapers are shocked to find a serial killer stalking on Halloween in "Dead Like Me" (10 p.m., Showtime). Wouldn't that be considered a good day for them?
