The rock star (Dominic Monaghan) picks a bad time to have withdrawals when a cave-in forces him to act quickly to save lives in "Lost" (8 p.m., ABC).
A new home makeover show, "Generation Renovation" (8 p.m., HGTV), spotlights owners who bring a fresh face to historic houses or properties in need of TLC. The season features a San Francisco Victorian, a Georgian Revival house and a former Chicago warehouse turned home.
The Great Bear Rainforest is one of the few intact temperate forests in North America. "National Geographic: Last Stand of the Great Bear" (8 p.m., PBS) visits the spot north of Vancouver, where wolves, grizzlies and orcas reign; and wolverines, otters, marbled murrelets, dolphins and wild salmon are part of the populace. The behavior of the rain forest's inhabitants is unusual: The wolves appear to hunt both bears and sea lions, something seen only in this location. With the forest threatened by logging, a team of scientists is racing to prove that the area must be protected.
"Regency House Party" (9 p.m., PBS) is reality TV, public television style, as 10 men and women looking for love spend nine weeks living in the English countryside, taking on the dress and manner of the Regency period -- the years 1811 through 1830. The series ends Nov. 24.
