XGIRARD -- The wedding of Theresa Battaglia, daughter of Dominic and Marlene Battaglia, 3196 Niles-Carver Road, McDonald, and Michael Fletcher, son of John Fletcher of Newbury and Linda Stull of Niles, took place at 3 p.m. Oct. 1 at St. Rose Church.
Monsignor Martin Susko officiated, and a reception was held at Sorrento's Banquet Center in Warren.
The couple honeymooned in Las Vegas and are living in Niles.
Fashioned of satin, the bride's princess-style gown was embellished with Venise lace, flowers and pearls. The skirt flowed to a semicathedral train.
Angela Lanzo was matron of honor for her sister, and bridesmaids were Sarah and Danielle Stull, the groom's sisters. They wore claret-colored gowns. Flower girl was the bride's niece, Sofia Lanzo.
Best man was Aaron Stull, the groom's brother, and groomsmen were Chris Joseph and Brian Burke. Jimmy Lanzo, the bride's nephew, was ring bearer.
Mrs. Fletcher holds bachelor's and master's degrees in finance from Youngstown State University, and is a tax auditor with the Ohio Department of Taxation in Youngstown.
Her husband attended ETI Technical College in Niles and is employed as a welder at General Motors Corp. in Lordstown.
