BIG SCHOOLS(Div. I-III)
1. Beaver Local (10-0) -- The Beavers clinched their second straight perfect regular season.
2. Hubbard (9-0) -- The Eagles wrapped up the Trumbull Athletic Conference crown outright by beating Brookfield.3. Fitch (9-1) -- The Falcons defeated rival Boardman to reign alone over the Federal League field.
4. Cardinal Mooney (7-2) -- The Cardinals opened some eyes by beating state power Columbus Bishop Watterson at Stambaugh Stadium.5. Warren Harding (8-2) -- The Raiders gained some respect by winning at Akron Hoban last week to tune up for the playoffs.
6. Ursuline (6-4) -- The Irish performed well under pressure, defeating Erie Cathedral Prep with their playoff hopes hanging in the balance.
7. Canfield (7-3) -- The Cardinals stressed defense against East Liverpool in a must-win game for their playoff hopes.
8. West Branch (6-3-1) -- The Warriors are playing well, running their consecutive non-losing seasons streak to 22. Still, they'll have a difficult assignment to open the playoffs.
9. Chaney (6-4) -- The Cowboys won the City Series title, but their four-year playoff streak came to an end.
10. Salem (6-4) -- The Quakers enjoyed their first winning season since 1994.
SMALL SCHOOLS(Div. IV-VI)
1. Liberty (9-1) -- The Leopards held off Girard's high-powered offense to gain momentum for the playoffs.
2. Mineral Ridge (9-1) -- The Rams clinched the outright Inter-County League title by beating Western Reserve.
3. South Range (9-1) -- The Raiders finished the regular season with a commanding win over rival Springfield.
4. Crestview (8-1) -- The Rebels enter the playoffs after an off week. Their game last week was canceled when Southern couldn't field a team.
5. Warren JFK (8-2) -- The Eagles rallied against Howland in their backyard Trumbull rivalry, winning 21-20.
6. Girard (6-4) -- The Indians challenged Liberty to keep their slim playoff hopes alive, only to fall short.
7. Springfield (7-3) -- The Tigers suffered a letdown against rival South Range and missed out on a playoff berth.
8. Leetonia (8-2) -- The Bears clinched their first playoff berth since the 2002 season with a win over United.
9. LaBrae (6-4) -- The Vikings' inconsistencies made them a tough team to figure out this season.
10. Mathews (7-3) -- The Mustangs make their first appearance in the poll by capturing the East Suburban Conference championship after moving from the Inter-County League.
XCardinal Mooney and Ursuline are grouped in the big school division because of their prominent schedules.
