JUNIOR LEAGUE Officer installation is held



Executive officers, board members and committee heads accept new assignments.
YOUNGSTOWN -- The installation of officers was a highlight of an annual meeting held by the Junior League of Youngstown on May 11 at Tippecanoe Country Club.
Outgoing president Kathy Scheel installed Suzyn Schwebel Epstein as president of the organization. Seated as her associate officers were Patricia Greene, president-elect; Amy Williams, community vice president; Shirley Smith, recording secretary; and Patti Keenan, treasurer.
Epstein, an active member of the Junior League for 10 years, serves on several boards, including the State of Ohio Council for Holocaust Education, Youngstown Hearing and Speech Center, Trumbull County United Way Trustees, Youngstown State University Deans Board of Visitors for the College of Arts and Science, YSU Judaic and Holocaust Studies Program, Zionist Organization of America, Jewish Community Relations Council, and Heritage Manor, Home for the Jewish Aged Volunteer Board.
Epstein is a docent at The Butler Institute of American Art and is a past president of Youngstown Symphony guild. She is married to Atty. Bruce R. Epstein, and they live in Liberty Township.

Scheel recapped the year's accomplishments, and recognized Karen Naffah as unsung heroine, and Stephanie Hunter as volunteer of the year.
