July wedding set by Miss Medvec and Mr. Newyear

X Plans for the summer wedding of Stacey Diane Medvec, 260 Elm Court, Struthers, and Carl Benjamin Newyear, 4478 River St., Willoughby, are being announced by parents of the couple.
The bride-elect is a daughter of John Sr. and Diane Medvec, of the Struthers address, and the future groom is a son of Albert Newyear of Sagamore Hills and Constance Newyear of Willoughby.
An open ceremony has been planned by the couple for 1:30 p.m. July 31 at Holy Trinity Church in Struthers. Invitations will be issued for a reception to be held that evening at the Maronite Center in Youngstown.
Miss Medvec, a radiologic technologist with the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center-Shadyside, Pittsburgh, earned an associate degree in radiologic technology at Kent State University, Salem Campus.
Mr. Newyear graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor's degree in music education and is the director of bands with Beaver Area School District, Beaver, Pa.
