XDaughters of the American Revolution, Mahoning Chapter, will meet for lunch at noon June 8 at Canfield Presbyterian Church. Joanne Collier will preside and Betsy Casgrain will give the president general's address, Elaine Gorant will give the national defense report, and Sally Moldovan will lead devotions. XFriends of Boardman Library will meet at 11:30 a.m. June 14 for a picnic lunch and installation of officers at the library's community room. Reservations are required. New members are welcome when meetings resume in September.
XWarren Women's Connection will hold a "Hair and Now" breakfast buffet at 9:30 a.m. June 14 at Aulizio's Banquet Center, 4395 Youngstown-Warren Road. The soloist will be Andrea Thompson, and the speaker will be Alice Sems. The cost is $10. XD.A.R.E. will meet at 7:30 p.m. today for bowling at Kay Lanes in Girard. Dance lessons are planned for 7 p.m. Tuesday at a cost of $5, or members may go walking in Mill Creek Park. On Wednesday golfing short holes at Mill Creek Park or biking on the trail at Kirk Road are planned for 6:30 p.m. Thursday a meeting for new members is set for 7:30 p.m. at Boardman Christian Church.
