WARREN -- Daniel-Raymond Nadon and the crew of Summer Stock 2004 will open their 27th season with a production of William Gibson's "The Miracle Worker" at Kent State University Trumbull Campus, 4314 Mahoning Ave. N.W. Heather Fenstermaker will direct the play, which tells the story of Helen Keller. Performances will be June 4-6 and June 11-13, with shows at 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and 3 p.m. Sundays. Tickets are $10 for adults, $8 for students and senior citizens, and $6 for KSU students and children under 12. Sign-language interpreters will be present at the June 6 show, which will be a fund-raiser for the Helen Keller Foundation. Patrons at that performance who mention the foundation will have half of their ticket price donated to the charity.
Museum to offer live videofrom Titanic wreck site
CLEVELAND -- Dr. Robert Ballard, who discovered the wrecked Titanic nearly 20 years ago, will return to the site in June. Cleveland Museum of Art will be the only location in Ohio offering an opportunity to watch. "Return to The Titanic" will feature video of Ballard's continuing exploration live via satellite June 4 (free for CMA members), 5, 6, 8 and 9; the museum will be closed June 7. Broadcasts will air at 10 a.m., 11:30, 1 p.m. and 3:30 and run 30 minutes each. Admission is $3 for CMA members, $5 for adults, $4 for senior citizens, $2 for children, and $3 a person for day passes for groups of 15 or more.
