BOARDMAN
May 17
Arrest: Police arrested an 18-year-old Youngstown woman at Taco Bell, 458 Boardman-Canfield Road, on two felony charges -- one count each of receiving stolen property and forgery. An employee at Farmer's National Bank, 102 W. Western Reserve Road, reported the business was the victim of a $230 bad check.
Robbery: An 18-year-old Niles man was arrested on a warrant charging him with robbery after a Boardman woman reported that someone removed her purse from her shoulder as the victim placed groceries into her vehicle in the Giant Eagle parking lot, 476 Boardman-Canfield Road.
Theft: Police arrested a 26-year-old Boardman man on a theft charge after an employee at Barshelli Biscotti Co., 1393 Boardman-Canfield Road, reported $193 missing from the business.
Theft: An employee at Youngstown Buick Pontiac GMC Truck, 7997 Market St., discovered a dealer plate missing from a vehicle that was taken for a test drive.
Criminal mischief: A woman discovered several plants damaged at the rear of her home in the 300 block of Meadowbrook Avenue.
Theft: Someone took 24 women's bathing suits and 38 women's undergarments from Victoria's Secret in the Southern Park Mall. The loss was estimated at $1,103.
Identity theft: A man in the 4700 block of Euclid Boulevard reported that someone used his identity and debit-card number over the Internet. He found a suspicious $196 charge.
Theft: A woman reported $1,000 worth of miscellaneous tools, a debit card and a Nintendo game missing from her residence in the 100 block of Harrow Lane.
Theft: A girl, 17, and a woman, 18, both from Hermitage, Pa., were charged with theft after a $50 pair of women's tennis shoes was stolen from Shoe Carnival, 550 Boardman-Poland Road.
Theft: Someone pumped $35 worth of gasoline into a vehicle and left a Shell TrueNorth station, 1510 Boardman-Canfield Road, without paying.
Theft: A man in the 300 block of Melrose Avenue reported $150 in cash, a wallet, an automated teller machine card and a credit card stolen from his residence.
Identity theft: A woman in the 7000 block of Glenwood Avenue reported that someone used her identity to obtain $20.23 worth of services from Waste Management.
Theft: Someone took $60 worth of miscellaneous clothing from Family Dollar, 4028 Market St.
Theft: A 14-year-old Youngstown boy was charged with theft after a $20 video game was stolen from Target, 417 Boardman-Poland Road.
Vehicle theft: A woman in the 5100 block of Glenwood Avenue discovered a $13,000 motorcycle stolen from her driveway.
May 18
Arrest: Police charged a 34-year-old Struthers man with aggravated menacing after an employee at a Speedway gas station, 649 Midlothian Blvd., reported receiving a threatening call at work and that the business had gotten several hang-up calls.
Criminal damage: A man in the 1200 block of Hunting Valley Drive discovered someone drove over his lawn, causing $500 in damage.
Theft by deception: A Youngstown woman reported being tricked out of $1,700 at Sky Bank, 7235 South Ave.
Arrest: A 31-year-old man was arrested at his home in the 30 block of Romaine Avenue and charged with obstructing official business. He also was wanted on a warrant charging him with failure to appear in court.
Theft: A 37-year-old East Liverpool woman was charged with theft after $101 worth of clothing was stolen from Kaufmann's in the Southern Park Mall.
May 19
Arrest: An East Palestine man, 40, was arrested at a Shell gas station, 998 E. Western Reserve Road, on charges of identity theft and theft by deception. An Akron man reported $11 stolen from a residence in the 8400 block of South Avenue, and a Poland man discovered his identity had been used to further a theft-by-deception crime.
Arrest: Police arrested a 34-year-old Youngstown woman at the Mahoning County jail on a charge of passing bad checks.
Domestic violence: A 27-year-old Struthers man was arrested in Struthers on a domestic-violence charge after a Boardman woman reported being a victim at a Rich gas station, 5823 South Ave. The woman's right elbow was bleeding.
Arrests: After a woman called police to report a fight at a residence in the 90 block of Lemans Drive, officers arrested three women. An 18-year-old woman from Maple Heights, Ohio, was charged with disorderly conduct and failure to desist; an Akron woman, 51, was charged with carrying a concealed weapon; and a 35-year-old Maple Heights woman faced charges of disorderly conduct, failure to desist and resisting arrest.
Theft: Police arrested a 46-year-old Youngstown man on a theft charge after 13 packs of batteries and three measuring tapes were taken from Sears in the Southern Park Mall. The loss was about $184.
Theft: A Canfield man discovered his debit card was taken and that $4,291.45 had been fraudulently withdrawn from his account at National City Bank, 7401 Market St.
Burglary: A man in the 50 block of Meadowbrook Avenue discovered that someone broke into his home through a first-floor rear door.
Arrest: A 45-year-old Youngstown man was arrested near Market Street and Mill Creek Drive and was charged with disorderly conduct after police responded to a report of an intoxicated person walking in traffic on Market Street.
Theft: A 16-year-old Youngstown boy faced a theft charge after $36 worth of jewelry was stolen from Target.
Bad check: An employee at Giant Eagle, 1201 Doral Drive, reported that someone tried to pass a bad check at the business.
May 20
Assault: Police charged a 15-year-old Boardman girl with assault after a woman reported that her daughter, also 15, was assaulted on a school bus in front of the victim's home in the 5000 block of Forest Park Place.
Thefts: An employee at Boardman Local Schools, 7410 Market St., told police that three employees at Boardman Center Middle School, same address, discovered money had been missing from their purses. Their loss was estimated at $153.
Criminal damage: A woman in the 1000 block of Zander Drive reported that her vehicle's passenger side had been scratched while inside a carport in the 70 block of Lemans Drive. Damage was about $200.
Theft: Police arrested a 16-year-old Youngstown boy on a theft charge after two halogen light bulbs, a compact disc and an in-dash adapter were stolen from Best Buy, 561 Boardman-Poland Road.
Theft: Two boys from Sharon, Pa., ages 14 and 16, were charged with felony theft after a tote bag was filled with merchandise and stolen from Wal-Mart, 1300 Doral Drive. A Sharon girl, 17, was charged with felony complicity to theft.
May 21
Theft: Police charged two Youngstown women, 20 and 24, with theft after $138 worth of clothing was stolen from the J.C. Penney store in the Southern Park Mall. One of the suspects also was charged with possession of marijuana; officers said they found suspected marijuana in her possession.
Arrest: A 38-year-old Youngstown woman was arrested at her residence on a felony warrant charging her with two counts of forgery. An employee at First Place Bank, 3900 Market St., discovered two forged checks totaling $485 had been cashed at the bank.
Arrest: A 29-year-old Youngstown man was arrested in the 400 block of West Ravenwood Avenue, Youngstown, on felony warrants charging him with four counts each of forgery and receiving stolen property. An employee at Seven Seventeen Credit Union, 7371 California Ave., reported four forged checks totaling $2,024 were passed there.
Theft: An employee at McMichael's Automotive, 4395 Lake Park Road, reported that someone had removed $100 worth of scrap metal items from the business.
Theft: A Youngstown man discovered that a set of ladder jacks and a cordless hammer drill-screw gun had been removed from his pickup truck while he was at Home Depot, 7001 Southern Blvd.
Theft: Someone left a BP gas station, 1090 Boardman-Poland Road, and failed to pay for $17.77 worth of gasoline.
Burglary: A man reported damage to a rear door at his home in the 20 block of Beechwood Drive. No entry was gained.
Felonious assault, vandalism: A woman in the 7400 block of Glenwood Avenue reported that someone tossed a brick through a bedroom window and nearly struck her. A glass window had about $100 worth of damage.
Vandalism: A woman reported that five light bulbs, a tree and a survey stake were damaged at her residence in the 6400 block of Tara Drive.
May 22
Arrests: Two men, 20 and 22, were arrested at a residence in the 700 block of Glen Park Drive. One was charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor and obstructing official business; the other man faced a charge of contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
Drugs: After conducting a traffic stop in the 6300 block of South Avenue, police arrested a 17-year-old Struthers girl on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia, drug possession and underage possession of tobacco.
Arrest: After responding to an underage-party complaint at the Boardman Inn, 7109 Market St., police arrested an 18-year-old Boardman man on a charge of consumption of alcohol under age 21. Officers say they found two full cans of beer.
Arrest: A Canfield man, 19, was arrested near Market Street and Forest Lake Drive. He was charged with obstructing official business and identity fraud.
Arrest: Police arrested an 18-year-old Boardman man in the 7100 block of Market Street and charged him with obstructing official business and possession of alcohol under age 21.
Theft: Police arrested an 18-year-old Youngstown man on a theft charge after two sets of earrings valued at $20 were taken from Kaufmann's.

Theft: A man in the 100 block of Diana Drive reported a license plate had been stolen from his vehicle in an unknown location.
