This year's path to Canton includes wins over Geneva (14-0), Solon (4-3) and Ashtabula Lakeside (4-3). Green advanced to the regional with wins over Canton GlenOak (2-0), Massillon Washington (6-2) and Uniontown Lake (5-3).

Who: Canfield (25-4) vs. Chardon Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin (21-4).When: Friday, 5 p.m. Where: Hudson High School.Also: Canton Central Catholic (22-7) vs. Chagrin Falls Kenston (16-10).Final: Saturday, 1 p.m. Scouting report: The Cardinals, coached by Tony Ross, are in the regional for the first time since 2000. En route to Hudson, they defeated three Metro Athletic Conference rivals -- Struthers (4-1), Poland (1-0) and Niles (14-1). Canfield's probable starting lineup is: John Virostko, senior, shortstop; Frank Turocy, senior, right field; Chad Baker, senior, first base; Mike Pulakos, senior, left field; Joe Pitzer, senior, center field; Josh Geric, senior, catcher; Justin Kucek, senior, designated hitter; Tim Novotny, senior, second base; Dave Piersante, senior, third base; Rick Banna, senior, pitcher. Cathedral-Latin is in the regional after wins against Aurora (13-0), Parma Heights Holy Name (5-1) and Cleveland Benedictine (9-2).

Who: Cardinal Mooney (16-11) vs. Creston Norwayne (17-6).When: Friday, 5 p.m. Where: Ducky Schroeder Field, Massillon.Also: Perry (23-5) vs. Cuyahoga Falls CVCA (18-5).Final: Saturday, 1 p.m. Scouting report: Under the leadership of first-year coach Steve Leslie, the Cardinals advanced to the regional for the first time since 1997, with victories over Crestview (13-3), United (11-1), Ursuline (3-2) and Brookfield (8-2). Led by senior shortstop Jeff Hehr, an Eastern Michigan recruit who's batting .536, the Cardinals have won 12 of their last 13 games. Who: Maplewood (20-5) vs. New London (21-4).When: Friday, 2 p.m. Where: George Day Field, Elyria.Scouting report: The Rockets, coached by Mark Trevelline, are making their third straight appearance in the regional. They defeated Bristol (7-3), Kirtland (7-6) and Ashtabula Sts. John and Paul (7-1). Maplewood's probable starting lineup is: Jake Abbott, junior, pitcher; Danny Morrison, junior, center field; Matt Chronister, senior, first base; Brian Hivick, senior, shortstop; Jon Carlson, senior, second base; Brayton Bollinger, senior, third base; Bryan Wayne, senior, catcher; Doug Wajda, junior, left field; Jeremy Mohorick, senior, right field. New London advanced with wins over Mansfield Christian (17-4), North Robinson Colonel Crawford (10-0) and Sandusky St. Mary Central Catholic (3-0).

Who: Western Reserve (14-11) vs. Ashland Mapleton (20-5).When: Friday, 5 p.m. Final: Saturday, 1 p.m.
Scouting report: The Blue Devils, coached by Paul Henderson, won their second district title in the last three seasons with a 9-4 victory over Inter-County League rival McDonald. Other tournament wins came against Lowellville (15-0) and Lordstown (3-2).
