Miss Valiski, Mr. Soloman to be married

XCORTLAND -- Mr. and Mrs. Robert Valiski, 5636 Ridge Road N.E., are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Jennifer Lyn Valiski of the same address, and Raymond Walter Soloman, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Soloman, all of 109 Clingan St., Hubbard.
The bride-elect graduated with a bachelor's degree in elementary education from Youngstown State University. She also earned a master's degree in education administration with a dual licensure in curriculum and instruction and principalship from YSU. She is a fourth-grade teacher at Champion Central Elementary School.
The prospective groom is an assistant principal at Roosevelt Elementary School in Hubbard. He graduated from YSU with a bachelor's degree in elementary education and from Westminster College in New Wilmington with a master's degree in educational administration and licensure in principalship.
The couple have planned an open ceremony for 2 p.m. July 24 at St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church. Their evening reception will be held by invitation at Leo's Ristorant & eacute; in Howland.
