Youngstown State University
The names of the 12th class of Leslie H. Cochran University Scholars at Youngstown State University was announced earlier this month. The University Scholars Program was started in 1992 by Cochran, then YSU president, who developed the program to recognize high-achieving high school graduates. The program, which also requires students to complete 60 hours of community service each year, is funded by the YSU Foundation. Below are the names, high schools and majors of the incoming class.
