Case remains unsolved 4 years after woman's disappearance

GREENVILLE, Pa. -- Tuesday marks the fourth anniversary of the disappearance of Sandra K. Baker.
It was on May 25, 2000, when Baker was last seen at the Sheetz convenience store on Pa. Route 18 in Transfer.
Her fianc & eacute;, William Crea, later told authorities that she had called him around 1 p.m. that day to say she was in some kind of trouble and would call him later, but she was never heard from again. Nor has her car, a 1987 Honda, ever been found.
Linda Henry, who said Baker was her best friend, said she hasn't given up trying to find out what happened to her. Henry said she has made new posters seeking information about Baker and will be putting them up, along with ribbons, along Main Street on Tuesday.
Authorities suspect she was the victim of foul play.
The Pennsylvania State Police trooper originally investigating Baker's disappearance has retired and another trooper has been assigned to the case, Henry said.
Baker, who would now be 52, was 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighed about 110 pounds at the time of her disappearance. She had blond hair and brown eyes. Baker said there is a $1,000 reward being offered through Pennsylvania Crime Solvers for information on Baker's whereabouts. Baker's family and friends have put up an additional $6,000 reward.
