May 10
Breaking and entering: An employee at Davis International Inc., 1155 Meadowbrook Ave., discovered that miscellaneous metal construction supplies worth $30,000 were taken from the business.
Theft: Police arrested two 31-year-old Youngstown women after a theft at Wal-Mart, 1300 Doral Drive.
Theft: Someone left a Shell True North gas station, 1510 Boardman-Canfield Road, without paying for $10 worth of gasoline.
Theft: An employee at Giant Eagle, 476 Boardman-Canfield Road, reported being shortchanged $50.
Theft: A woman reported a wallet was stolen from a student's locker at Boardman High School, 7777 Glenwood Ave.
Assault: A woman reported her ninth-grade daughter was assaulted on a school bus in front of their residence in the 5000 block of Forest Park Place. The victim had a scratch on her cheek and a bruise on her nose.
Recovered property: A 1992 GMC Sierra truck was recovered after a man in the 70 block of Lemans Drive reported it stolen.

Theft: A woman in the 6100 block of West Boulevard discovered a $397.50, 18-inch boat cover missing from her home.
Assault: A man in the 7500 block of Buchanan Drive reported being assaulted while he was at Valvoline Instant Oil Change, 7210 South Ave.
Theft: Police arrested a 30-year-old Boardman woman on a theft charge after a shirt and a $56 pair of pants were stolen from Kohl's, 383 Boardman-Poland Road.
Misuse of a credit card: A woman in the 30 block of Midwood Circle reported someone made 29 unauthorized Internet transactions using her Discover credit card. The charges amounted to $1,503.11.
Identity fraud: A West Hickory, Pa., man reported his identity was fraudulently used to open an East Ohio Gas Co. account from a residence in the 8000 block of Salinas Trail.
Theft: An Elizabeth City, N.C., woman, 30, was charged with felony theft after numerous shirts, bras, pairs of sandals, pairs of pants and other items were stolen from Kohl's. The loss was estimated at $538.87.
Assaults: Two Youngstown men reported being assaulted at a Speedway gas station, 649 E. Midlothian Blvd. One man had cuts on his left leg and over his left eye; the other had a cut on his right index finger and swelling on his right hand.
Burglary: A woman reported her home in the 7000 block of Paxton Road had been burglarized, and a $2,500 diamond solitaire ring and a $1,000 diamond wedding ring stolen. The items were later returned to her.
Burglary: Police discovered someone broke into a residence in the 3900 block of Dover Road through a first-floor side door. A window and a screen were damaged.
Burglary: A woman reported a burglary to her apartment in the 100 block of Erskine Avenue. A flat-panel computer monitor, a $150 pair of gold earrings and a $35 gold ring were missing.

Auto theft: A 1998 Buick Century was stolen from a driveway in the 700 block of Cranberry Creek.
Criminal damaging: An employee at Lockwood United Methodist Church, 4570 Lockwood Blvd., discovered two sets of stair railings and a fence were damaged.
Robbery: A man reported his grandson, 8, was the victim of a robbery after the boy's $160, 20-inch bicycle was stolen near the grandfather's home in the 400 block of Annawan Lane.
Theft: A woman in the 60 block of Prestwick Drive reported a $40 basketball hoop was removed from a pole it had been attached to.
Breaking and entering: A man reported his garage in the 300 block of Afton Avenue broken into, and a $199 lawn mower taken.
Assault: A 51-year-old man was arrested at his home in the 500 block of East Western Reserve Road on a warrant charging him with assault after a Salem woman reported being a victim.
May 13
Assault: Police charged a 17-year-old Boardman girl with assault after an 11th-grade student reported being assaulted at Boardman High School. The victim complained of a headache from being struck on the side of her face, as well as scratches on her right eyelid and right neck and shoulder areas.
Breaking and entering: An employee at Bob Evans Restaurant, 7347 California Ave., discovered someone pried some screws from a door and broke into a storage shed behind the business. Two stuffed children's chairs valued at $400 were taken.
Arrest: A Youngstown woman, 46, was arrested at Giant Eagle, 1201 Doral Drive, and charged with passing bad checks.
Theft: Police arrested two Youngstown men, 27 and 37, on theft charges after an employee at Nemenz IGA, 223 Boardman-Canfield Road, alleged they attempted to leave the store without paying for five steaks valued at $63.
Theft: An employee at Country Fair Food Store, 7465 South Ave., told police she saw someone pump $50 worth of gasoline into a pickup truck and leave without paying.
Criminal damaging: An employee at Saunders Music, 4400 Market St., discovered a broken window at the business. Damage was about $50.
Theft: A man reported a $150 cellular phone stolen while he was at Boardman High School.
Theft: Someone stole two T-shirts and a pair of pants worth $78 from the Demo store in the Southern Park Mall.
Theft: A woman noticed 90 blank checks had been stolen from her residence in the 4000 block of Hillman Way.
Theft: A man in the 200 block of North Cadillac Drive reported a $150 golf bag, eight golf wedges, a $120 rain suit, an umbrella, 24 golf balls and other golf equipment stolen from his car.
Theft: Police charged an 18-year-old Youngstown man with theft after six compact discs were stolen from Target, 417 Boardman-Poland Road.
Theft: Two Campbell girls, 16 and 17, were arrested on theft charges after four women's tops and two women's undergarments worth $133 were removed from Kohl's.
May 14
Aggravated robbery: Police arrested a 23-year-old Oil City, Pa., man and a 30-year-old Tionesta, Pa., man on charges of aggravated robbery and possession of drug abuse instruments after a Wal-Mart employee told police he apprehended some shoplifters with loaded guns and drug-abuse instruments in their possession. An Edinburg, Pa., man, 29, was charged with theft. Various allergy and sinus pills were taken.
Arrest: A 23-year-old man was arrested at his home in the 7600 block of Hitchcock Road and charged with misuse of a credit card. A New Middletown woman discovered her credit card was misused to pay for $25 worth of gasoline.
Theft: Police arrested a 20-year-old Youngstown woman on a theft charge after a shirt and a pair of pants were stolen from Gabriel Bros., 850 Boardman-Poland Road.
Assault: A Boardman woman reported her son, 7, was assaulted on the playground at Market Street Elementary School, 5555 Market St. The boy needed medical assistance after suffering bruises, abrasions and head injuries.
Theft: A Poland woman discovered a $100 cellular phone stolen while she was at Nail Lovers, 1216 Doral Drive.
Theft: Someone stole 57 kitchen hand towels from Dollar Discount, 1014 Boardman-Poland Road.
Theft: A man discovered a $13 door lock actuator stolen from his home in the 400 block of Rockdale Avenue.
May 15
Arrest: A 17-year-old East Palestine girl was arrested in Boardman and charged with underage possession of alcohol.
Theft: A Warren man, 32, was arrested in Warren on a felony theft charge after a $700, AM-FM stereo unit was stolen from Circuit City, 7230 Market St.
Criminal damaging: A Struthers man reported his vehicle's front windshield was smashed, resulting in $300 in damage, while the car was at Camelot Lanes, 628 Boardman-Canfield Road.
Theft: A man in the 100 block of Maple Avenue reported four bamboo chairs worth $2,000, a $700 bamboo table and a glass table top stolen from his front porch.
Criminal damaging: A man reported someone drove through his front yard in the 4500 block of Grover Drive.
Theft: A Boardman High School student reported her father's $1,000 digital camcorder stolen at the school.
Theft: Someone took 15 pairs of cargo pants, worth $44.50 each, from The Limited store in the Southern Park Mall.
