Summary of police activity for Girard, Liberty and Hubbard:
GIRARD
May 15
Arrest: Police arrested a Girard man after trying to locate a person who fled from a vehicle and ran into a residence in the 400 block of Trumbull Avenue. He was charged with disorderly conduct while intoxicated after officers say he made threats toward them. Another man was found hiding in the basement and was charged with driving under suspension, driving under the influence and other traffic offenses.
Vandalism: An employee at Price Heating & amp; Cooling, 330 Trumbull Ave., noticed someone had burned and damaged a trash bin in a rear parking lot.
Criminal damaging: A man in the 200 block of Louis Circle alleged his former girlfriend came to his residence and, after refusing to leave, punched and kicked a storm door, causing damage to a screen. He also told police she rammed her vehicle into his, causing minor damage, and that the woman got into her car and drove toward the victim when he was in his front yard.
Assault: Police charged a Girard man with assault after a Warren man alleged the suspect entered a residence in the 20 block of Cherry Street and, during a fight, threw the victim into a wall light switch. The man had a deep cut on his head.
May 16
Vandalism: A woman discovered someone tossed eggs at a deck at her residence in the 800 block of Lincoln Avenue.
Theft: Police noticed two 14-year-olds removing some paving bricks from a road construction site near Trumbull Avenue and Davis Street.
May 17
Vandalism: A woman in the 40 block of Smithsonian Street discovered a rear kitchen window at her home had been broken.
Theft: A woman in the 500 block of Washington Avenue reported a checkbook, a box of blank checks, a birth certificate and her Social Security card were removed from her residence.
Theft: A woman said someone took five solar lights from the front of her home in the 500 block of Forsythe Avenue.
LIBERTY
May 10
Theft: An employee at W.S. Guy Middle School, 4115 Shady Road, discovered his $275 cellular phone was missing from his office.
May 11
Criminal trespass: After an employee for the Liberty School District called police to report someone had gained entry to the former high school, 317 Church Hill-Hubbard Road, officers found a suspected marijuana pipe on a desk inside the building.
Identity theft: A Girard man alleged his son, 22, obtained a credit card in the father's name and used it to make about $4,600 worth of unauthorized charges.
Robbery: A 48-year-old Youngstown woman was arrested on a robbery charge after a security employee at Rite Aid Pharmacy, 2704 Belmont Ave., told police that, while detaining a suspected shoplifter after various cosmetics products were stolen, the woman pushed and struck her while trying to flee. Also, a 66-year-old Youngstown man was charged with theft. The victim had some cuts and scrapes.
May 12
Theft: A woman in the 100 block of Warner Road reported the theft ofa lawn tractor.
Theft: An employee at AJ Systems, 986 1/2 Tibbets-Wick Road, alleged a former employee failed to return a $200 firearm.
Robbery: An employee at Rite Aid Pharmacy reported a man and a woman struggled with her while trying to steal $130 worth of gum.
May 13
Vandalism: An employee at the Days Inn, 1610 Motor Inn Drive, reported someone entered a room with a key and damaged several windows and a lamp. Damage was estimated at $1,020.
Vandalism: While conducting an inspection at a residence in the 900 block of Mansell Drive, a Liberty Township employee discovered a broken window at the home's back door.
Criminal damaging: A man in the 3000 block of Green Acres Drive told police that he saw a group of five male juveniles and that one shot a BB gun, striking his vehicle and causing $150 in damage. Officers also discovered six windows at an abandoned home in the 3000 block of Northgate Avenue had been shot and damaged.
May 14
Theft: A 1979 Ford F-150 pickup truck was reported missing from the Tally Ho-tel parking lot.
May 15
Breaking and entering: An employee at Papa John's Pizza, 3175 Belmont Ave., came to work and noticed a safe with an undetermined amount of money missing after someone likely entered the business through a rear door.
May 16
Theft: A Girard man reported a $300 AM-FM compact-disc player had been removed from his vehicle while he was at a residence in the 4100 block of Logan Gate Road.
May 17
Breaking and entering: A woman returned to her home in the 3500 block of Colonial Drive and discovered someone had broken into her house and stole a $40 leather suitcase.
Arrest: After responding to a domestic situation at a residence in the 200 block of Colonial Drive, police arrested an 18-year-old Youngstown man on charges of assault, attempted arson, criminal damaging and theft. The suspect's girlfriend alleged he tossed her around during an argument, causing her to hit her head on the ceiling. She also told officers he smashed her phone in the driveway, poured bleach onto her bed and tried to set the bed's headboard on fire and removed a CD case and several CDs. The property was recovered.

Criminal mischief: A woman in the 100 block of Youngstown-Hubbard Road discovered damage to her vehicle's validation sticker.
