RECOGNIZED Goodwill honors supporters at annual awards banquet



Businesses and individuals were singled out for recognition
BOARDMAN -- Youngstown Area Goodwill Industries held a gala awards banquet May 6 at Mr. Anthony's where employees, area businesses and individuals were singled out for recognition.
Roger Guglucello, president of the board of trustees, welcomed the 150 guests at the annual event, and the invocation was given by the Rev. Lewis Macklin of Holy Trinity Missionary Baptist Church.
Michael W. McBride, executive director of the sponsoring organization, spoke of past achievements and emphasized the importance of respect and dedication in the organization.
Among those honored for outstanding achievements and for contributing to the support of Goodwill's mission were the following:

UNew project: The Orthopaedic Surgery Center at Beeghly Medical Park

UYoungstown radio reading service volunteers: Lou and Connie DeToro
UJunior group volunteer: Denise Walters-Dobson
