First team
Matt Raiti (Sharon High), senior outfielder-pitcher for Bethany College, was named PAC Player of the Year. As a pitcher, he tied for No. 1 in the PAC in wins (6-1 record) and had a 3.99 ERA. At the plate, he tied for No. 1 in doubles (14), was No. 3 in on-base percentage (.459), No. 4 in batting average (.384) and total bases. Career-wise at Bethany, Raiti set a record on the mound with nine saves and ranks No. 8 in wins. At the plate, he ranks No. 2 in extra-base hits (55) and doubles (42), No. 4 in hits (167), home runs (9) and RBIs (92), No. 6 in at-bats (438), No. 7 in games played (139) and No. 9 in runs scored (92).
Sam Mann (Howland), freshman pitcher for Washington & amp; Jefferson, led the PAC in wins (7-1), ERA (1.45), least number of walks (7) and opponents' batting average (.206). He also batted .308.
Caleb Goist (Columbiana), senior shortstop for Thiel, tied for No. 1 in RBIs (38) and doubles (14), was No. 3 in hits (55), No. 5 in runs scored (30) and No. 10 in batting average (.364). Academically, he has a 3.813 grade-point average as a major in biology and pre-dentistry, and was named to the 2004 College Sports Information Directors of America All-District II College Division Baseball First Team. Last year, he was named to the All-District II Second Team. Goist also is Thiel's career leader in most offensive categories, including at-bats (559), runs scored (125), doubles (42), hits (199), and is No. 2 in batting average (.356).
Kinsey Henderson (East Liverpool), sophomore catcher for Thiel, led the PAC in total bases (92), tied for No. 1 in doubles and was No. 2 in batting average (.390) with 33 RBIs.
Mark Nightingale (East Liverpool), sophomore outfielder for Thiel, led PAC in on-base percentage (.465) and was No.3 in batting (.388) with 26 RBIs.
Second team
Brett Bell (Badger), sophomore outfielder for Thiel, led PAC in hits (57) and runs scored (45) and was ninth in batting (.368) with 21 RBIs.
