Patrick Pinney is elected to post



HERSHEY, Pa. -- Patrick C. Pinney, watchman of shepherds of Ruth Shrine 64, Order of White Shrine of Jerusalem, was elected to the office of supreme associate watchman of shepherds of the Supreme White Shrine of Jerusalem of the United States and Canada during a supreme session held May 2-8 in Hershey, Pa.
Also representing Ruth Shrine at the event were Ann Canaday, Elaine Exten, Beverly Flynn, Bertha Gettan, Alvie Graham, Vada Graham, Jean Layne, Jean Mook, Carol Pinney, Rose Marie Roth, Irene Slosser and Linda Woolford.
Pinney, who is married to the former Carol Albricht and the father of a daughter, has been active in the White Shrine since June 15, 1993, and has held a variety of offices with the organization.
A fourth-generation Mason, Pinney was raised to the degree of Master Mason in the William Farr Lodge 672, F & amp;AM, in 1972, is a 32nd degree Mason, Scottish Rite, Valley of Youngstown, and was initiated into Sunrise Chapter 458, OES, in 1984 where he has filled many positions.
He is an active member of several community service organizations and with Church Hill United Methodist Church, served as a shipping agent with Pinney Dock and Transport in Ashtabula, taught in Liberty Local Schools, and served as a part-time instructor at John Carroll University.
