Mr. and Mrs. Ellis Bequeath observe 60th wedding anniversary at home

XMcDONALD -- Mr. and Mrs. Ellis Bequeath of 1120 Owsley Road were honored by family and friends at a gathering May 2 at their home in celebration of their 60th wedding anniversary. Hosts for the event were the couple's children, Marilyn Bequeath of Howland, Ronald and Darla Bequeath of Mercer, Pa., and Juanita Bequeath of Youngstown. Six grandchildren complete their family.
Mr. Bequeath and the former Yolanda Schroeder were married April 28, 1944, at Lenox Federated Church in Jefferson.
He retired April 27, 1983, from the 910th Troop Carrier Group at the Youngstown Air Reserve Station in Vienna.
Mrs. Bequeath retired in 1979 from her work as a sales clerk and receptionist.
The couple are members of Highway Tabernacle Assembly of God in Austintown and Chapter 2122 of the National Association of Retired Federal Employees.
