XCONNEAUT -- St. Mary Church was the setting April 17 for the wedding of Kimberly Burke and Joshua Benson, both of 7360 West Blvd., Boardman.
The Rev. Raymond Thomas presided at the 3 p.m. ceremony, and afterward the couple accepted congratulations during a reception held at Conneaut Human Resource Center. The newlyweds live in Boardman after a wedding trip to Cancun, Mexico.
Timothy and Dolores Burke, 5425 Monroe Center Road are parents of the bride. The groom's parents are Richard and Sandy Benson, 134 Halleck St., Youngstown.
Periwinkle-colored gowns were worn by the bride's sister and honor attendant, Karen Zappitelli, and the bridesmaids, Lori Dudley, Jaime Richards, Renee Sherry, Chrissy Downard, and groom's sister-in-law, Sarah Benson. Flower girl was the bride's cousin, Jana Burke.
The duties of best man were performed by the groom's brother, Lucas Benson, and groomsmen were Matt Benson, the groom's brother; Dave Anthony; Tom Hamrock, John N. Zomoid, and Dan Berger.
The bride and groom graduated from Youngstown State University with degrees in elementary education. She is a teacher with Canfield Local Schools, and he is general manager of Buffalo Wild Wings Grill and Pub in Youngstown.
