XYOUNGSTOWN -- The marriage of Jessica Wertz, 1921 Penny Lane, Austintown, and Dave Sullivan, 361 Meadowbrook Ave., Boardman, was solemnized by the Rev. Kenneth Sausman at 2 p.m. April 17 at Rockview Christian Church.
A reception was held at A La Cart Catering in Canfield for the daughter of Aloise Wertz, also of 1921 Penny Lane, and Kenneth S. Wertz Jr., 8342 Darner Road, Lisbon, and the son of Janet Pumphrey, 5425 S. Turner Road, Canfield, and Dave R. Sullivan, 410 S. Forest Hill Drive, Austintown.
After a wedding trip to Myrtle Beach, the couple live in Boardman.
Fashioned of Italian net over satin, the bride's sheath gown featured a square neckline, short sleeves and a fishtail train. It was enhanced with beading in a leaf pattern.
Amethyst gowns were worn by the honor attendant, Brandy Neill, and the bridesmaids, Wendie Wakeford and Michele Jones, aunts of the bride; and Traci Mallery, the groom's sister. Flower girl was Kristen Wakeford, the bride's niece.
Matthew Reynolds was best man, and groomsmen were Steven Voytko, Steven Bell, and the groom's brother, Timothy Wertz.
The bride, a relationship associate with KeyBank in Boardman, graduated cum laude with a bachelor's degree in sociology from Youngstown State University where she earned a master's degree in business administration.
The groom graduated from YSU with a bachelor's degree in finance, and is a purchasing supervisor with Vanguard Distributors in Warren.
