Grand jury looks into murder case

WARREN -- Family members and friends of a man killed last month stood outside the Trumbull County Courthouse as grand jurors heard testimony concerning his murder.
Relatives of Orson Provitt, 29, of Jackson Street, said Friday they were upset that no one has been charged with the murder and hoped the grand jury would soon issue an indictment.
A few of the family members said they were scheduled to testify.
Provitt was shot to death April 30 at the Golden Stallion bar in Warren Township.
Lt. Don Bishop of Warren Township said Robert Williams, for whom no exact age or address is available, of Warren, has been arrested on a charge of illegal possession of a weapon. Bishop said Williams has been questioned about the shooting.
Williams also appeared in front of the grand jury.
Police say moments after Provitt pushed someone, he was shot. Police say they are not sure why Provitt pushed someone or the motive behind the shooting.
Police also declined to say exactly what type of weapon was used or how may times Provitt was shot.
