The second annual Women of Power Conference will be from 6:30 to 9 p.m. next Saturday at New Vision Christian Church Center, 2500 Mahoning Ave., Warren. The speaker will be evangelist Yvonne Williams from Canton. The free event will include music by Zula Sanders of Columbus and Michelle Stevenson of Warren. Natalie Vaughn of Warren will be the host.
"The Cosmic Tether Ball" will be the subject of a teaching when the Youngstown Spiritual Society meets at 10 a.m. Sunday at the Ursuline Center, 4300 Shields Road, Canfield. Meditation and shared prayer will follow. Call (330) 783-0387.
First Baptist Church, 220 Fountain Ave., Ellwood City, will host a conference, "Rebuilding the Ancient Ruins," with Rex and Lois Burgher Ministries. The Blackwood Gospel Quartet, formerly the Blackwood Brothers Quartet, will perform at 6:30 p.m. today at First Church of God, 1951 Parkman Road N.W., Warren. An offering will be taken.
The drama team at New Springfield Church of God, 3649 E. Garfield Road, New Springfield, will present "Uncle Phil's Diner" at 7 p.m. next Saturday. The cost is $6. Call (330) 549-2060.

CEMETERIES
The Catholic Diocese of Youngstown has announced the removal dates for artificial decorations and potted plants at its cemeteries. At Calvary Cemetery in Youngstown, All Souls Cemetery, Cortland, and Calvary Cemetery, Massillon, decorations must be removed from graves on or before Sunday. Decorations may be placed for Memorial Day beginning May 23 and must be removed on or before June 27. At Resurrection Cemetery, Austintown, artificial decorations and potted plants must be removed on or before June 27.
