An armed robbery is the focus of Mercer County Crime Solvers this week:
Location: Sharon.
Details: Police said two men, one armed with a silver-colored handgun, robbed the Rite Aid Pharmacy at 813 E. State St. shortly after 9 p.m. Wednesday. The gunman pulled up his shirt to reveal the gun tucked in his belt and demanded drugs from the pharmacy technician, police said. The technician handed over the drugs, but police have refused to reveal what they were. The two men fled the store and got into a waiting car driven by a woman. The vehicle went west on State Street.
Descriptions: The gunman was described as a white man between 5 feet 4 inches and 5 feet 6 inches tall, wearing a black ball cap, sunglasses, a black shirt and black and white pants. His accomplice was described only as a white man about 6 feet 2 inches tall wearing a yellow T-shirt. The driver of the car was described only as a white woman. The car was a red Chevrolet Cavalier or Pontiac Sunfire.
