CLUBS
XHermitage-Hubbard Rotary clubs will have an interclub outing May 24. Dinner will be at 6 p.m. at Central Christian Church of Hubbard, 22 S. Main St., and afterward the group will tour the World War II Vehicle Museum and Learning Center, 5959 W. Liberty St. The cost for dinner is $7, and admission to the museum is $5.
COMMITTEES
XUAW Local 1112 Women's Committee will hold a luncheon as a benefit for the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation at 2 p.m. May 23 at McMenamy's Restaurant and Banquet Center in Niles. Guests speakers will be Lloyd Mahaffey, UAW Region 2-B director; Alice-Audie Figueroa, UAW administrative assistant; Elizabeth Bunn, secretary/treasurer; and Jerry Springer, TV host and political activist
GUILDS
XSt. Michael Garden Guild, St. Michael Church, Canfield, will hold a flower show and dinner at 6 p.m. May 26 at the parish center. Mary Ann Silvestri will preside and be assisted by Geri Tomko, Elizabeth Rehlinger, Patricia Hoyle and Angela Behan. The theme will be "Celebrating 40 years of Friends and Flowers." Floral entries will be accepted from 3 to 4 p.m. and dinner of pork chops, potatoes, vegetables, salad, rolls and dessert will be at 6. The cost is $18.50 and checks made out to the guild and sent to Hoyle by Thursday. Guests are welcome. Hostesses will be Trudy Defino, Kate Fitzgerald, Hoyle, Behan, Peg Davis and Rehlinger.
POLITICAL
XMahoning County Republican Women will meet at noon May 25 at Denny's in Austintown. All area Republican women are invited.
RELIGIOUS GROUPS
XRodef Sholom Sisterhood will hold a special event at noon June 8 at Fellows Riverside Gardens where a box luncheon will be served at noon in a private dining room. The speaker will be Audrey Korenic, master gardener and docent. There will be a supervised tour of the gardens. Admission for the day is $10, and transportation can be arranged. Reservations are required by May 25 and can be made by sending a check to the sisterhood, 1119 Elm St., Youngstown, Ohio 44505, or by calling (330) 744-5001.
