Forum to exploreopportunities for Warren
WARREN -- The city will host a Business Development Initiative Forum from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. May 24 at the Renaissance Place, Palmyra Road.
The purpose of the forum is to discuss prominent funding opportunities from the state that may be available for projects in the city. The funding opportunities can be used to foster local business development, redevelopment projects, expansion and job creation.
Guest speakers include Bruce Johnson, state development director; Krista Sisterhen, director of the Governor's Office of Faith-Based and Community Initiatives; Karen Huey and Karhlton Moore, director and chief counsel, respectively, of the Governor's Office of Criminal Justice Services; Mayor Michael J. O'Brien and Doug Franklin, city director of public service and safety.
