LIBERTY
May 5
Assault: An employee at a Shell gas station on Logan Avenue alleged a co-worker punched him in the nose during an argument in the parking lot.
Theft: A Cortland woman noticed her vehicle's rear license plate had been removed while she was at the Liberty Plaza, 3551 Belmont Ave.
May 6
Arrest: Police arrested a 34-year-old Warren man at the Mahoning County Jail on two felony warrants charging him with one count each of receiving stolen property (auto) and receiving stolen property, as well as two misdemeanor warrants charging him with forgery and falsification.
May 7
Criminal damage: A Youngstown woman discovered all four of her car's tires were slashed while it was parked at Giant Eagle, 4700 Belmont Ave. Damage was estimated at $600.
May 8
Criminal damage: A Warren woman reported someone broke her vehicle's driver's-side mirror, causing $200 in damage, while she stayed at the Tally Ho-tel, 4249 Belmont Ave.
Assault, criminal damage: A man delivering some advertisements to a home in the 800 block of Pinecrest Boulevard alleged a resident, 46, struck him on the right bicep with the handle of a pair of hedgeclippers and kicked the passenger side of his car after becoming angry that the ads were left in his driveway.
Arrest: After stopping a vehicle in the 400 block of Gypsy Lane that had expired license plates, police arrested a 42-year-old Youngstown man on a charge of driving under suspension, as well as other traffic offenses.
Arrest: After responding to a report of a vehicle in a ditch in the 1700 block of East Liberty Street, police charged a 33-year-old Girard woman with two counts of endangering children and one count of having no operator's license.
May 9
Assault, criminal damage: A Youngstown man told police another man, age 22 to 26, hit him after breaking the driver's-side window of his car near the American Inn, 1620 Motor Inn Drive. Damage totaled $150. The victim had a cut on his head.
Burglary: A man in the 3400 block of Logan Way reported someone entered his home and garage, possibly with a key, and removed a $900 snow blower, a two-gallon air compressor, several air nailer devices and other tools. The property was later recovered.
Burglary: A man discovered someone broke into his residence in the 1300 block of Will-o-Wood through a basement window and took $50.
Criminal damage: A man in the 700 block of Colonial Drive reported another man caused minor damage to his vehicle's hood when he pounded it with his fist as the two argued at a residence in the 6400 block of Sodom-Hutchings Road.
Theft: Someone pumped $30 worth of gasoline at a Shell True North gas station, 3990 Belmont Ave., and drove away without paying.
May 10
Theft, menacing by stalking: A woman accused a man, 50, of refusing to return clothing she had left at his home in the 1300 block of Will-o-Wood. She also alleged he followed her in his vehicle, struck her car with his and ran her car off the road near Liberty Street and Hubbard Road.
Arrest: A 23-year-old McDonald woman was arrested in Girard and charged with forgery, receiving stolen property and passing a bad check.
HUBBARD
May 5
Assault: A man in the 200 block of Viola Avenue alleged a woman, 21, assaulted him at a residence in the 30 block of Oakdale Street.
May 6
Identity theft: A man in the 100 block of Viola Avenue reported being a victim.
May 8
Vandalism: A woman reported someone used a key to damage her vehicle near her home in the 100 block of Youngstown-Hubbard Road.
Theft: A man in the 900 block of Saul Drive told police he discovered a woman's car parked nearby was missing its license plates.
Arrest: During a traffic stop near Stewart Street and Park Avenue, police charged a Hubbard woman with driving under the influence, resisting arrest and child endangering.
May 10
Recovered property: A man reported finding a silver bicycle left near his property in the 50 block of Oak Knoll Drive.
Arrest: Police arrested a Hubbard man at the Trumbull County Jail and charged him with failure to appear in court on one count each of robbery, burglary and theft.
Arrest: After stopping a car on West Liberty Street, police arrested a Hubbard man on charges of driving under suspension, possession of drug paraphernalia and having fictitious license plates.
