Police seek robbery suspects
SHARON, Pa. -- Police are looking for three people suspected of robbing the Rite Aid Pharmacy at 813 E. State St.
Police said two men entered the store at 9:18 p.m. Wednesday. One of them approached a pharmacy technician. The man pulled up his shirt to reveal a silver-colored handgun tucked into his belt, and the technician handed over a variety of drugs, police said.
The two men fled the store and got into a waiting car driven by a woman. The car was last seen headed west on State Street, police said. An inventory was being conducted to determine exactly what drugs were taken, police said.
The gunman was described as a white man between 5 feet 4 inches and 5 feet 6 inches tall. He wore a black ballcap and sunglasses, black shirt and pants that were black at the top and white from the knees down.
His companion was described only as a white man about 6 feet 2 inches tall and wearing a yellow T-shirt.
The driver of the car was described only as a white woman, police said.
