XChristine (Katula) and Nick Popa of Canton, Ga., are announcing the birth of their first child, a daughter, Miranda Nicole, on April 15 at Northside Hospital-Cherokee in Canton. Grandparents are Michael and Marian Katula of Campbell and Nick and Mary Ann Popa of Bath. Great-grandmothers are Ann Katula and Margaret Slanina, both of Campbell.
XMr. and Mrs. Andrew Matey, Swanee, Ga., formerly of Canfield, and Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Tamarkin of Boca Raton, Fla., formerly of Liberty, became grandparents of two grandsons, both born on April 18. Joshua David Tamarkin is the son of Robert and Marni (Matey) Tamarkin, Alpharetta, Ga., formerly of Liberty. Jared Shane Matey is the son of Dr. Mark and Heidi (Tamarkin) Matey, Jacksonville, Fla. Great-grandparents are James and Agnes Siciliano, 2278 Frostwood Drive, Austintown.
XJim and Mary Kay (Sweetko) DeSellems of Henderson, Nev., are announcing the birth of their second child, a daughter, Jenna Rachelle, April 19 at Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center in Las Vegas. The baby is a granddaughter of Ron and Mary DeSellems of Austintown and Tom and Nadyne Sweetko of Jamestown, N.C. Her great-grandmother is Kay Coss of Lowellville.
