'24' star Sutherlandfiles for divorce
LOS ANGELES -- Kiefer Sutherland has just clocked out of his marriage.
The "24" star has officially filed for divorce from his wife of nearly eight years, Elizabeth Kelly Winn Sutherland, citing the celebrity standard: "irreconcilable differences," reports E!Online.
Court documents were filed Monday in Los Angeles Superior Court. The actor's publicist said, "The papers speak for themselves" and declined to comment further.
The former Hollywood couple, who wed in 1996, had been separated since 1999 and have no children together.
It was the second marriage for Sutherland, whose previous two-year union to fellow actress Camelia Kath resulted in a daughter, Sarah Jude. He was also famously engaged to Julia Roberts, but they never made it down the aisle. He's most recently been linked to his "24" co-star Reiko Aylesworth, who plays Tony's wife, Michelle, on the thrill-a-minute show.

"She did fabulous," Federman said.
Anderson moved to California in 1989. Immigration officials said the actress also retained her Canadian citizenship.
"I felt it was important to become a U.S. citizen in order to vote in the United States," Anderson said Wednesday. "I have no intention of giving up my citizenship in Canada and am very proud to be a Canadian."
Anderson is currently a columnist for Canadian Elle magazine. She starred on "Baywatch" and has since worked in various films and TV shows, including the animated television series "Stripperella."

Pride recuperatingfrom brain surgery
DALLAS -- Country singer Charley Pride is recuperating at home after brain surgery last week to remove a subdural hematoma, his personal assistant said.
The surgery was performed Saturday at an undisclosed hospital. A subdural hematoma is a blood clot that occurs when blood from a torn vessel collects between the brain and the skull.
Pride returned to his Dallas home Tuesday and immediately began talking about returning to work, personal assistant John Daines said Wednesday.
Doctors told Pride, 66, that he can expect a recovery time of four to six weeks.
Pride, a member of the Country Music Hall of Fame, checked into the hospital May 5 after experiencing severe headaches.
His attitude remained positive, Daines said.
"I think he was just relieved to get rid of the very bad headaches that came from it," Daines said.
Pride's nine-show, 12-day tour of Canada, scheduled to start this week, has been rescheduled for August.
The singer's hits over a lengthy career include "All I Have to Offer You (Is Me)" and "Kiss an Angel Good Morning."
