Miss Bentfeld, Mr. McClendon to be married

XGREER, S.C. -- The engagement of Kristen Marie Bentfeld and Kenneth Davis McClendon, both of 109 Thornbrook Court, Greenwood, S.C., is being announced by her parents, Fred and Anna Marie Bentfeld, 501 Thornblade Blvd., formerly of Youngstown.
Parents of the future groom are James and Carie McClendon, 210 Clem Road, Greenwood.
The bride-elect, a first-grade teacher with Pinecrest Elementary School in Greenwood, earned a bachelor's degree in corporate communications at the College of Charleston in Charleston, S.C., and a master's in early childhood education at Converse College in Spartanburg, S.C.
Her fiance attended the College of Charleston and the Presbyterian College in Clinton, S.C. He is a Realtor with Grand Harbor Golf and Yacht Club in Ninety Six, S.C.
The couple will issue invitations for their wedding to take place at 6 p.m. June 26 at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Greenville, S.C., and their reception at the Thornblade Club in Greer.
