Woods struggles, falls back

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Arron Oberholser surged past a pack of contenders and left struggling Tiger Woods far behind Saturday in the third round of the Wachovia Championship.
Oberholser shot a 4-under 68 for an 11-under 205 total and a one-stroke lead over Geoff Ogilvy (66) and Notah Begay III (69).
Woods had a 75 to drop five strokes back at 6 under. He hit two balls in the water and five tee shots into the trees.
Vijay Singh, trying to become the first player in nearly five years to win three straight weeks, was four strokes behind after a 71. He birdied the final two holes.
Michelob Ultra Open
WILLIAMSBURG, Va. -- Mexico's Lorena Ochoa shot a 3-under 68 in swirling wind conditions for a share of the third-round lead with Cristie Kerr in the Michelob Ultra Open.
Kerr, seeking her second victory of the year, had a 70 to match Ochoa at 7-under 206 on the River Course at Kingsmill.
Christina Kim (73) was two strokes back at 5 under, and second-round leader Kim Williams followed a 63 on Friday with a 78 to join Jennifer Rosales (73) at 4-under. Rosales won the Chick-fil-A Charity Championship last week for her first LPGA Tour title.
Annika Sorenstam was 2-under after a 71.
Teenage sensation Michelle Wie struggled with her accuracy, but repeatedly showed a deft touch around the greens and battled for a 73. She was six strokes back at 1 under.
FedEx Kinko's Classic
AUSTIN, Texas -- Bob Charles, trying to become the oldest winner in Champions Tour history, shot a 2-under 70 for a share of the second-round lead in the FedEx Kinko's Classic.
The 68-year-old New Zealander matched Wayne Levi and Zimbabwe's Mark McNulty at 5-under 139 on The Hills course.
Mike Fetchick is the oldest winner in the history of the 50-and-over circuit, taking the 1985 Hilton Head Seniors Invitational at 63. Charles, the 1963 British Open winner who won the last of his 23 Champions Tour titles in 1996, also is trying to win a professional tournament for the sixth straight decade.
Levi and McNulty shot 71s. First-round leader Ray Floyd birdied the last two holes for a 73. He was a stroke back along with Morris Hatalsky (69) and Japan's Isao Aoki (71).
British Masters
MERIDEN, England -- England's Paul Broadhurst shot a 6-under 66 to take a one-stroke lead over countryman Barry Lane and Argentina's Eduardo Romero in the British Masters.
Broadhust, a Ryder Cup player in 1991 but without a victory in nine years, had an 11-under 205 total. Romero shot a 71, and Lane had a 66. Scotland's Colin Montgomerie, competing in his first event since the breakup of his marriage, shot a 70 for a 211 total.
