The Millers to be honored at open house

XSALEM -- Mr. and Mrs. Larry Miller of Salem will observe their 50th wedding anniversary during an open house planned from 2 to 4 p.m. May 16 at Damascus United Methodist Church, 260 Valley Road, where the couple are members.
The event will be hosted by the honorees' children and spouses, David and Diane Miller of Damascus; Jim and Betsy Miller of New Market, Md.; Lois Miller Niederhiser and her husband, Len, of Beloit; John and Lisa Miller of San Antonio, Texas; and Dale and Jodi Miller of Salem; and their 10 grandchildren.
The couple requests no gifts.
The former Treva Bush and Mr. Miller exchanged marriage vows during a ceremony May 16, 1954, at First Baptist Church.
