Roulakis 50th is celebrated at family event

XCAMPBELL -- A family dinner party was held April 24 at Oscar's in Boardman in celebration of the 50th wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Steve Roulakis, 315 Sanderson Ave.
Hosts for the event were the couple's children and their spouses, Cleo and Ray Fabian of Campbell, Dr. Nick Roulakis of Pasadena, Calif., and Virginia and Roger Faubel of Canfield. There are seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren in the family circle.
In addition to the dinner, the couple will further celebrate the event during a trip to Greece this summer.
The former Irene Patzakis and Mr. Roulakis were married April 25, 1954, at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church in Youngstown. They are members of Archangel Michael Greek Orthodox Church and the OPA Club.
Mrs. Roulakis was employed as a Visa collector with Strouss department store from 1966 to 1986 and with Bank One from 1986 until retiring in 1996. She is a member of the Women's Kalymion Society.
Mr. Roulakis served with the Greek Army during World War II. He retired after being employed as an industrial iron painter with Morakis and Sons Painting from 1959 to 1989.
