Parents announce Valantine-Ferrara engagement

XCANFIELD -- The engagement of Dr. Melissa Ann Valantine of Girard and Dr. Jeremiah Joseph Ferrara of Hubbard is announced by the bride-elect's parents, Edward and Karen Valantine, 2928 Whispering Pines Drive.
Parents of the prospective groom are J.V. and Susan Ferrara of 1440 W. Liberty St., Hubbard.
Dr. Valantine graduated from Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine in Rootstown. She is a pediatric resident at Forum Health Tod Children's Hospital in Youngstown.
Dr. Ferrara graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa, with a doctor of chiropractic degree.
The couple will be married during a ceremony at 3:30 p.m. June 5 at the gazebo at Julia's Bed and Breakfast in Hubbard. A reception is planned at the Maronite Center in Youngstown. Invitations will be extended for the ceremony and reception.
